The Whole Gospel

It is clear that the Word of God has been under attack for over two thousand years. This attack started before Christ’s original disciples went home to be with Him. As a result of this attack, confusion has crept into The Church. Let us be aware that God is not the author of confusion.

According to one public opinion poll in the mid-1950s; 80% of all respondents indicated that they believed the Bible to be the inspired word of God, but only 35% were able to name the four Gospels, and over half of those who believed were unable to name even one. These are very startling, if not scary numbers.

The Lord spoke through the Prophet Hosea saying: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6) Here at Salvationcast.org we want our mission to be precise; we are not out to step on toes or run down others’ beliefs, but we want to impart a knowledge of the truth.

What is Truth?

The Bible clearly states a plan of salvation for mankind; Jesus bought and paid for that salvation on the Cross of Calvary. We share that plan here:

• The Bible says we must Repent
• we must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins
• We must receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

This comes from Acts 2:38. While obviously, Acts 2:38 is not the only verse in the Bible, it does sum up what Jesus told his disciples to teach those who would become believers in future generations.
